See How We Work 2018Founded
Help Artist India (HAI) was founded in January 2018 with a mission to discover, support, and promote talented artists who often go unnoticed.
We connect artists with care, learning and platforms to perform—while celebrating the many traditions that make India's cultural life vibrant. Through HAI Raaga Records, HAI Events, and HAI Ash'aar, we help musicians, writers, poets, storytellers, folk artists, and performers reach the audiences they deserve.
A journey in motion
From one conviction to a community.
The Beginning
Help Artist India Foundation begins with a belief in the dignity and promise of every artist.
Listening First
Understanding the everyday realities artists face, then shaping support around what they tell us.
Passing Knowledge On
Creating more ways for artists to learn from one another and carry their practice forward.
Making Connections
Opening encounters between artists, audiences and the many communities that give culture its life.
What guides us
A practice of showing up.
A steadier Ground
Practical care eases pressure between performances and supports a sustainable creative life.
Room to Develop
Mentorship and shared knowledge help artists grow and pass their craft forward.
An Audience to meet
Thoughtful platforms connect artists with audiences and new communities.
A living heritage
India's traditions, still in motion.
Dance, music and making carry memory forward—one artist, one audience, one generation at a time.

Meet the people
Every art form
begins with a
person.
Years of practice live behind a single gesture; memory and invention meet in every melody. These are not distant traditions but the work and lives of people around us.
